NEW JOB PAYROLL position has arose in Calne, Wiltshire to work approximately 16 to 20 hours per week, initially to cover maternity leave, possibly longer term. Immediate start. Interviews WC 1st June.
The role
Based in Calne town centre. Daily client contact. Running weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls for a variety of small to medium size client companies, using Sage Payroll. Answering basic HR queries on a day-to-day basis. Keeping track of HMRC payments, holiday entitlements and various other payroll related tasks. Writing/reviewing Contracts of Employment, Staff Handbooks and other client requested documents. Working as part our team of payroll administrators responsible for the smooth running of our payroll bureau.
The candidate
Computer literate, with a good standard of English, you will have experience of working independently and as part of a team in a payroll/HR environment. You will be competent at handling all aspects of the job including year-end reconciliations and submission of P35s and P14s. You will have good interpersonal skills and be keen to impress clients with the service you give.
