An excellent opportunity has arisen for a permanent Risk & Assurance Support Officer to work within one our Housing Associations in the North West.

This position is for 3 days per week (22 hours) - Perm

Salary: 17,560 - 19,570

You must be able to:-

You will be required to take responsibility for managing the Risk Management & Internal Audit processes
To co-ordinate the risk group sessions and to take ownership for the logistical planning and co-ordination of organisations Internal Audit Process. Acting as the central point of contact for all logistical internal and external audit matters.
You are required to manage the internal audit plan who will be where, when, informing Service Heads when visits will affect them
Deliver updated minutes & risk maps following meetings
To will be required to action comments for both Risk Management and Internal Audit
Co-ordinate a report to Exec and Board level on a quarterly basis
You will be required to train new starters on the Risk Management approach at the organisation as part of their internal induction programme
To provide Admin support to the Disaster recovery and Business continuity arrangements for the Association, ensuring that the plans and regularly reviewed and updated, and to co-ordinate testing of the plans on a regular basis at a local and strategic level.

Requirements:-

It is essential that you must have experience of Internal Audit and Risk Management processes.
An understanding of social housing is desirable.
You need to be organised, methodical and have the ability to ensure regular processes are undertaken flawlessly.
You are required to show experience of organising and co-ordinating workshops within an organisation.
It is essential that you have excellent IT skills.
Good communication and diplomacy skills across all level s of an organisation.

To undertake training and attend meetings as required and directed by your line manager.

Key Skills:-

You don't need to be a Risk expert, but you will need an understanding of what Risk Management is
You must be able to demonstrate a keen sense of being pro-active
You are required to have an understanding of the need to have internal audit & Risk Management systems in place
