Hello,

We have a lovely cat, a five year-old girl called Cosmo that needs a new home.
We got her two years ago from the cats protection league and am not sure about her previous life but she did come to us as very shy but very loving.

Cosmo is her name and she is a chocolate brown Burmese breed with a little white bib. She needs a home with a safe garden with no other animals. She is very timid but once her confidence comes to her she becomes very adventurous.

Unfortunately due to work commitments we are moving to Thailand and don't think this move would suit her. So I'd need to find her a loving home as soon as possible.

She's very friendly and sweet and she'll be missed a lot!
She's a Burmese breed cat and she has been spayed and vaccinated and she comes with her bowl, litter tray and remaining sand for the litter tray/food. However she actually likes access outside to go to the loo.

She would not suit a home with other cats and she does not like small children as they really scare her. She will be fine with children over 10 years old. She is not a lap cat, but likes to sit next to you instead. She also insists on sleeping in the bed with you, so if this is not your thing, Cosmo is not for you as night-time cuddles in bed is something she cherishes.

I'm asking for no money for this cat because I want her to go to someone really interested in her (she has already changed house twice and deserves someone who can take care of her for long term)
I couldn't attach here a picture but if you want one or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do my best to answer you promptly.
Also we leave near Andover but if you live reasonably near I can take her to you as I'm currently not working.

Last but not least she's litter trained (but if she has access to a garden would not need it) and likes to stay both indoor at night and outdoors during this day (ideally you will have or will install a cat flap so she can come and go as she pleases). She is very much a scardy cat (yesterday she was running away from a bird) and adores company (although if you work in the day that would be fine too). She loves it if you walk with her in your garden and she enjoys being the centre of attention. Lovely character - only fantastic loving homes considered.

Preferably you will know your place - cats first, humans second - we spoil her rotten and I hope her new home will want to do the same.

If you would like her on a trial basis, this could also really work well. It will probably take her about 1 month for her to trust you fully, but I want this union to be beneficial and welcoming for both parties. I will be back in three months time, so if it did not work out I would just bring her to Thailand with me (as I will have a home by then). My only issue with taking her out there is we will only be out there 2-3 years and then she will have to have six months quarantine coming back. Also it is very hot out there and she is a very furry long haired cat that does not really even like English heat. Also there are lots of wild animals where we will live and I am very scared of her being bullied by them (cats and dogs) last but not least I am terrified of her catching a tarantula or snake and them biting her. Not being brought up in this country, how will she know what is safe to play with and what is definitely not? This is the most difficult decision I have ever had to make. I therefore feel I need to make sure that the next home she goes to is the very best. She is one in a million and anyone who takes her on will be very lucky to have her.

Thank you for the consideration and kind regards (any questions please give me a shout),

Louiza
