Acting as the main point of contact within a team for medical claims, the Medical Claims Assessor will have good medical knowledge providing assistance on a rota basis Monday to Friday.

The Medical Claims Assessor will be: Taking inbound calls, and answering emails for expats to accurately assess, cost and audit invoices and manage medical claims received in order to settle claim. This will include liaison with insurers, resolving issues, discussing medical conditions, full investigation of claim, negotiation with hospitals on charges and costs, ensuring system updated accurately with information, communicating decisions to insured.

The Medical Claims Assessor will have previous medical claims experience, preferably working with ex-patriots, having operated within an insurance environment, health organisation or service provider; have good in-depth medical knowledge and be able to discuss medical conditions aptly; computer literate with good telephone manner. The Medical Claims Assessor will work on a shift rota basis between the hours of 6am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
