My client, based in Reading, is looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this Finance Manager job. They are a successful professional services company that provides services to a range of clients. This role focuses on all aspects of accounts for the organisation. Managing one member of staff, you will be responsible for the management accounts which focus a good deal on WIP and billing of clients, the Financial Accounts including statutory returns, VAT, reconciliations and other ad-hoc duties. Reporting into the FD, this role is a very hands-on one that would be good for an accountant who enjoys that aspect of the task.
You will be a qualified accountant preferable with some experience of practice. You will ideally have worked for a services company that is involved in WIP and billing clients (e.g. solicitors or architects) and will enjoy the hands-on aspect of the task.
The role will pay between 40,000 and 49,000 depending on experience.
