At the University of Reading, we are interested how our genes and our diet affect our risk of heart disease. Therefore we require volunteers to help us on this important project, especially given the high rate of cardiovascular disease currently in the UK.
What do I have to do?
The main objective is to modify the type of fat consumed in your normal diet over a period of 6 months. You will continue to eat your regular diet but will be asked to eat the snacks and use the oils/spreads we provide (which are all commercial products).
