Waste Watch is looking for 1 enthusiastic and well-motivated Recycling Support Officer to join its consultancy team from the 12 June to be part of a participation monitoring project in Portsmouth. Waste Watch is also looking for 10 Recycling Monitors to join its consultancy team from the 12 June 2009 to be part of a 6 week participation monitoring project in Portsmouth.
The Support Officer position will consist of a range of activities including monitoring the effectiveness of the campaign, data entry and database management. You will be leading a team of ten Recycling Monitors and working alongside collection crews and Council staff.
As Recycling Monitor your work will consist of monitoring resident participation in the kerbside recycling scheme across Portsmouth. You will be working alongside collection crews and full training will be provided.
Applicants may apply for both the Recycling Support Officer and the Recycling Monitor position in the same application.
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 6:30am 14:30pm (35 hours per week, 5 days week Monday - Friday)
Duration: 7 weeks
Salary: 8.00 - 8.50 p/hour
