The Bridge Tavern is situated on the Camber Dock in Old Portsmouth, within easy reach to the seafront, the round tower and Gunwharf Quays. The site is seasonal and benefits from being waterside in the summer. We have an opportunity for a part time Bar person to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be positive and hard working, with a strong customer service focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to enable effective interaction with the team and our customers.
Duties will be to serve food & drinks to our customers, undertake general cleaning and hygiene routines, and some cellar work. Some heavy lifting of bottle crates and beer barrels may be requested.
Working hours will be approximately 10 to 15 hours on weekends initially, but may vary according to the seasonal needs of the business, and will cover various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be available throughout the summer.
The position is minimum wage. Training and career development opportunities are also available.
