A national supplier of agricultural solutions to the UK Poultry Industry and their retail (supermarket clients) are looking for a QA Manager to work in their Devon offices. You would be responsible to the General Manager you will provide full QA support to the Grower Sites within the Devon and surrounding area a fully expensed company car will be provided. Ideally you will have worked within the agricultural environment cover the following: Assist with audits and relevant responses for Company Grower sites, Inspection visits to farms in preparation for audits, Implement and monitor system to ensure results from Laboratories are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, liase with animal health and DEFRA, Collation of information for companies and review and update farm risk assessments on an annual basis.
Ideally you will have a QA background and be a strong auditor Essential knowledge will include;
- Initiative and influencing skills with a critically evaluating and questioning approach
- Ability to manage staff
- Ability to prioritise duties/tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver excellent customer service My client are keen to point out relevant QA and Auditing experience is more important then having a farming / agricultural background.
