My client is a stylish and contemporary hotel based in the South of Cornwall seeking an experienced Junior Sous to join this award winning team based in Falmouth due to internal promotions making this position available.

The role as a Junior Sous in this kitchen will mainly involve running the kitchen in the Sous and Head Chefs absence, carrying out relevant training and developing with junior chefs, assistance with stock/wastage control and also running each section in the kitchen efficiently.

You will already be an established Junior Sous or a very strong Senior Chef de Partie looking for a step up into this challenging role. The kitchen operates at a rosette standard so experience within a similar environment would be preferred.

For the right person a salary is on offer up to 17,000 per annum and unfortunately no live in accommodation is available with this position, so chefs local to Cornwall or those chefs looking to relocate to Cornwall on own accord would be ideal.

There is also a position available for a Commis Chef who is looking to take on an epic learning curve under a strong Head Chef and team to progress your culinary skills further. Salary for the right person is 12-13,000 per annum.
