Due to an increasing volume of assignments ABC Translation Agency is seeking to expand its network of interpreters and translators across Europe.
About the Job
As part of our international team you will work as a freelance interpreter. Your role will involve the accurate and complete production of translated documents and related linguistic tasks, including ad-hoc proof reading and approvals of your colleagues work as required.
Key Responsibilities
Review of assignments for specific translation order requirements
Clear dictation of translations
Identifying errors in source text
Resolution of individual text queries
Signing of certificates
Approval of own work after proof-reading
Quality check reviews of other translators work
About You
Degree educated with excellent written communication skills and a proven track record in translating in one or more of the following areas:
Commercial
Engineering
Legal
Science
Marketing/PR/E-commerce
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
Fluency in English plus one other language preferably to degree level qualification
Previous translation/proofreading experience
Keen eye for detail
Accurate language/grammar skills
Research ability
Dedicated, motivated and a self-starter
