hi my name is leona thompson , im 26 years old, i have been working in the childcare industry for over ten years now. i have worked in many nurseries , looking after children from ages 1 mnth to 8 years. i have also been doing nanny work in between too. i am qualified to nvq level two.
i am currently a full time mum at home to my daughter caitlin , who is 23 months old. cailtin is a very happy child who loves to be around other adults and chidren. together we enjoy doing a range of activities from painting, drawing, and a particurlar favouritte s cooking together and making a mess.
we also love being outdoors , going to the local parks and libary. also we go to swimming and music sessions for babies. Any nannying job that i am offered will be on the basis that caitlin will be with me for most of the time. i am hoping that by becoming a nanny , will give cailtin the opportunity to interact more with other children.
i am currently seeking full time employement , i would however consider part time , if enough hours are offered. i can nanny in my own home in littlemore , which has all the needed safety measures in place for children ,or in your own homes. i do not drive , but am willing to travel, aslong as it has an accesible bus route.
i do not mind doing some light household chores , sush as loading the washing machine , hoovering up after the children.
i am also avalible most evening and weekends for babysitting , also during the day while im looking for work. i can be used reguraly or just as a one off , or emergency help. due to my advertising on gunmtree , a lot of parents want me to have their children overnight at my own home we have plenty of room for another cot or travel cot. overnight stays will be charged at a negotiable flat rate fee, to be discussed when requested.
