Head Chef/ Manager Southwell Nottinghamshire

Situated in the historical town of Southwell is the newly opened 'Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel'. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to head up the restaurant within the hotel.

The Role

Ensuring all kitchen operations and activities are carried out in full compliance with the company operating standards and procedures, in accordance with all legal requirements.
Planning to ensure your restaurant achieves all financial targets and gps and therefore aiding in sales initiatives.
Ensure your kitchen achieve brand standards targets.
All Food safety legislation and documentation is up to date.
Aid in recruitment of junior chefs and develop their training plans.
To ensure all kitchen staff are trained in line with company procedure.
To ensure the general day to day running and effectiveness of the restaurant.


The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced head chef with at least 2 years experience in this role .The person will need a proven track record in relation to Hygiene Audits, achieving weekly GP targets and producing food to Company specification. You should be from a fine dining establishment background. Candidates must be good communicators, have a hands on approach and are passionate about food.

You must be flexible, reliable and able to work hours to meet the businesses needs which will include evenings and weekends.
