Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running & The Alzheimer's Society Need You!
Volunteer Race Marshals required for the Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running (Sunday 13th Sept)
Role purpose:
Marshals are vital to the smooth running of a successful high profile race event. The Alzheimers Society needs volunteers to assist in the welfare of our runners, supporters and general public.
This could include:
Helping guide and direct participants around the course
Advising pedestrians and traffic about road closures and access
Encouraging and cheering on our participates
Recording and reporting any incidents using the reporting process
Skills and experience:
Volunteers must:
Be good with people
Have good practical skills
Show and use initiative
Willingness to work as part of a team
Societys commitment:
You will be responsible to a Senior Race Marshal
You will be provided with appropriate safety clothing
You will be provided with instructions and guidance to complete this role
You will be provided with refreshments
