Kingsbrook Specialist Business & Enterprise College require a Teacher of Physical Education to join the school from September 2009 with the potential of a July start available for NQTs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher of Physical Education who wishes to move into a well established, high achieving subject area in a forward looking school. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and will have high expectations of students.
This role involves teaching Physical Education at KS 3 and 4 with the opportunity to teach up to A Level for a suitable candidate. It would be advantageous for candidates to offer games as a subject specialism to support a developing extra curricular girl's games program that offers Netball, Hockey and Girls Football.
Physical Education at Kingsbrook is a successful subject and you will work with the Lead Learner and the rest of the team to maintain and develop this. Your key focus within this team will be to ensure the highest possible quality of provision within your lessons, developing your teaching skills and styles.
You will work with an experienced and enthusiastic department that will both support and encourage your professional development. Kingsbrook is part of the South Northamptonshire School Sports Partnership, which provides extensive extra curricular opportunities. Working at Kingsbrook will give you the opportunity to work with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.
This is a part-time post with a requirement for 0.4 full time equivalent (FTE).
