A leading Defence Organisation based in Hertfordshire have a vacancy for a Bids & Proposals Manager.
You will define, plan and deliver medium/large sized projects/contracts, within the relevant sector, against the organisations targets. You will manage the controls contract cost at completions and cash flow, maximising margin. You will co-ordinate interfaces with internal functions & directorates. You will lead and direct multi-disciplined project teams and encourage strong team working.
It is essential that you have strong project and risk management skills, sound business judgement, a technical appreciation of complex problems and extensive management experience covering financial, commercial, engineering and project areas. In addition you MUST have experience of working for an Aerospace/Defence organisation.
