Hello Everyone,
We have a 3 bed semi detached in a very quiet, safe and popular area of Dover, Kent. The house is an older build with the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet downstairs and 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom upstairs. We have GCH, wall and loft insulation etc. We have a small front garden (approx 15' x 15') and a good sized back garden (approx 20' x 40'). But, if I am honest, the house could benefit from a little TLC (this is due to health problems) and will need new flooring upstairs and on the stairs. The house is owned by Dover District Council and the rent is 70 a week and Council Tax is 25 a week. Dover is split into small communities and we live in an area called Tower Hamlets. We are classed as being on an estate, but there are only four rows of houses on our little bit (2 in front and one to the back) and there is only about 30 40 houses in each road. The road itself is only used by residents, and is very peaceful There is a play park and local bus stop 2 minutes walk and open countryside within a 2 minute walk too, so although it is an estate, it really has a lovely village-like feel to it :). But, health issues and personal circumstances force a move.

We have a few local shops about 5 mins walk, but the town centre (15 min walk) offers a wide range of shops from Netto and Pound shops to Marks and Spencer and just about everything in between. There are also beauty salons, cafes and no shortage of pubs. There are 2 nightclubs, a wide range of pubs and there is also a museum, Library a Beautiful Castle :). There is lots of country and cliff- top walks too :).
OK, NOW WE COME TO THE WISH LIST: Very Simple really I have problems with my ankles, which are getting progressively worse and I am finding that stairs are getting very difficult to cope with. My Hubby also has back problems too, which are never going to get better. This is the reason we are moving. We don't mind what sort of property we have, just as long as it fits our needs. We are looking for a property that has a living room, kitchen, toilet, shower room (or a small room that I can make into a shower room), and a separate dining room (big enough to make into a double bedroom) all on one level ( so we could basically live on the ground floor) I would also love to have a utility room, though this is not essential.
We then need a further 2 bedrooms as we have 2 grown up daughters who are still at home and for some reason insist on moving with us lol.
If you feel you have a property that would meet our needs (decor not important and we are concentrating on the propety being right more than where it is) or you would like any further information, please drop me a line. I am always happy to answer any questions that may arise and will consider all offers made to us and will answer all mail. But would like somewhere quiet and peaceful, so no big built up areas.
