Who we are looking for:
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate people who can commit themselves to a year of working with these schools. As a teacher you will have full classroom responsibilities including creating lesson plans, student assessment, and curriculum development. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved something special, to gain a real insight into Korea's unique culture, and to influence the lives and community of Koreans young and old. In Brief
- Working days: Monday - Friday
- Working hours: 9.00AM - 5.00PM
- Total hours: 22 classes per week (so 3 or 4 classes per day)
- Student level: Elementary, Middle or High School
- Elementary school classes are 40 mins and this is counted as one
hour
- Middle school classes are 45 mins and this is counted as one hour
- High school classes are 50 mins and this is counted as one hour
What would be my responsibilities?
- Teach English
- Student evaluation
- Prep class
- Develop curriculum and teaching materials
- Conduct English conversational classes for teachers and students
- Assist with activities related to English language education
The only requirements are a BA/BS Degree, to be a native English speaker, and a thirst for adventure!
