CVs are invited for a permanent post teaching Maths from KS3 through to KS5 in the suburban borough of Croydon.
Following the promotion of a member of this Maths Department, the school seeks to appoint a well qualified and motivated teacher of Maths who is able to teach across the whole ability and age range in this rapidly improving High School. GCSE results in the school have increased three fold in the past 4 years with 61% gaining 5 A*-C in 2007.
Value added was amongst the top 5% for London in 2007. Proposals are at an advanced stage to establish an 11-18 Academy on the site from September 2009 and all staff and students will transfer to the Academy. This post provides a tremendous opportunity for driven teachers to develop their career in a resource rich environment where there is a belief in the best for everyone.
