We are looking for an experienced, fun live-in Nanny / house-keeper, with the nanny part of the role being the most important. We have two children, 3 and 1 years old.
We live in a charming little village just outside Pulborough in West Sussex. The village is a 20 minute drive from Horsham and an hour and 20 minutes train ride from London Victoria.
The house is pretty busy. Our eldest goes to pre-school every morning, he loves playing and being around people. Our youngest son goes to toddler groups every morning. He is a very happy and contented baby. The school and the toddler groups are local but a short drive away so a clean driving licence and being happy to drive in the UK is a must.
The hours are generally 7.30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning with occasional night baby-sitting, probably no more than a night a week.
I generally work 8.30 till 1.30 so I need someone to look after the kids in the morning while I am at work. In the afternoon I need help with some cleaning and cooking. We also travel to Italy several times a year, so the job involves accompanying us on most of those longer trips.
You will have 20 days holiday plus Christmas and Easter bank holidays paid leave.
You would have your own double room with an en-suite bathroom, TV and wireless internet connection. You would also have full use of a car. We will organise tax and pay slips for you.
Ideally we are looking for someone who is looking to stay long-term certainly no shorter than 12 months.
