Accounts and Sales Administrator Required

Small size International logistics company are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant and Administrator to join their Stockley Park Office. Reporting to the Managing Director and Account Director your responsibilities will include:
Reconciling purchase and sales invoices
Implementing accounts software and new invoicing system
Managing the accounts payable process and compiling challenging client invoices
Preparing monthly Balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
Producing ad-hoc reports and analysis
Working with Sales and Account Management personel on customer quotes and complex rates
Supporting Account Management and Sales in all day to day activities
Working with auditors on Year End accounts and compliancy
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Managing payroll and contract expenses
Full understanding and experinece with excel and Sage 50 is essential.
The position is currently full time, although less hours could be agreed for an initial trial period.
You will be quick to learn and not afraid to make decisions and rise to challenges. Good accountancy experience and qualifications are essential as is friendly and presentable manner.
Being able to adapt to a small size team and company is essential and will require a positive outlook.
