The suitable person most be kind, polite, caring, trustworthy, and have lots of patients to look after 3 children with special needs, most of the care will centre around my daughter who has learning and development delay she is 9rs old, she needs care to the age range of a 3yr old to keep her safe, as she has no sense of danger. my boys are 11yrs and just turned 13yrs.
The successful applicant most have experience in special needs,have a up to date crb and have at least 3 written , contactable references and at least 2 must be from a childcare job you have held, also one must be within the last year.I know i ask a lot but after previous applicants i need to be sure you have enough experience to support my children in there daily routines and activities. the successful applicant must have clear spoken and written English to help with home work.
The successful applicant will have a nice, comfortable room with DVD com-bi TV, Didi box.
Some qualifications helpful but experience more important. it will involve early mornings, as early as 6am on a school day . 2 days off a week.there will be some free time in afternoons. it will involve keeping the children's rooms clean and tidy and helping with the rest of house 2 days a week and a quick tidy round, wash up ect. of an evening. the successful applicant must be able to follow instructions give , be able to work as a team or alone. training can be given on job but must have some experience with caring for children.
I can pay 50 possibly 80 pr week to the right applicant, the job comes with room and full board included.
Although the pay isn't as high as some you would gain a lot of experience here, especially for someone training in childcare or newly qualified. Previous au pairs one went on to teaching in a primary school the other into specialist nursing, both found their time here helped them in there training, and future jobs.
