ROLE: Our Client wish to appoint a Senior Mechanical Estimator to enable further growth of their highly successful team. The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, attending mid and post tender meetings and post tender control. You will be expected to interface with both our existing and prospective new clients. This position will involve the day-to-day management of assigned staff to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Whilst mechanically biased, the position also demands a wide knowledge of electrical engineering services. Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will need to have obtained experience in a wide range of sectors, including Health, Education, Commercial and Industrial. This is a permanent position with strong career prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience from a Contracting or consultancy background. Formal qualifications are not necessary although an HNC/HND or similar in a building services related qualification would be considered an advantage. A proven track record in a similar position is however considered essential.

Computer literate with experience of Estimation software. Willing and able to work as part of a team with the necessary skills to promote good relationship and a friendly working environment.
Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with company QA policies.
