Senior Lecturer in Construction

I am working with a Further Education College seeking a an experienced Senior Lecturer/ Head of Department to teach across their Construction Courses.
The successful Applicant will ideally hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, PTLLS or DTLLS) or at least have extensive teaching experience and be working towards this qualification. They will also hold a degree or a minimum of an HNC/D BTEC qualification in a construction related discipline.
Package Details:
- Salary: 36,000 to 40000 (Pro Rata- Dependent on Qualifications and Experience)
- Training: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS Recognised Teaching Qualifications
- Pension: 13% - 16% Final Salary Employer Contribution
- Holidays: 35 - 50 days holiday plus Christmas efficiency and Bank Holidays
- Hours: 37 hours per week
Requirements
A Degree in a Construction related discipline e.g. Construction, Civil Engineering, Building Studies or Built Environment, Surveying, although a minimum HNC/D Level Qualification will be considered, particularly in conjunction with a Professional Body membership
Extensive experience in the building industry including at managerial and / or supervisory level
A desire to pass on your skills and experience
Experience working in a position of responsibility in an FE environment as well as extensive lecturing experience.
Your Training
The training establishment will pay for the successful candidate to achieve recognised teaching certificates. It is beneficial if you are working towards or hold these already.
