Staff Nurse Night Duty

Our client requires an experienced Staff Nurse either RGN or RMN to work night duty at there care home in Cumbria.The rota would be 7 nights on and 7 days off, with shifts being 12hours.
The ideal candidate should have experience of working within private sector Care homes, preferably working with elderly, and those suffering from dementia.
You will be RGN/RMN qualified with a minimum of twelve months post qualification experience. You should be able to demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and above all an understanding of the needs of elderly service users within a care home environment.
Main duties and responsibilities will include taking charge of the floor in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager as well as ensuring that clinical standards are maintained and adhered to. In addition, you will work with junior staff members to ensure that they are adequately supervised and that any required training is provided. In addition, you will ensure the safe handling of medication and undertake administration of medication.
Own transport is desirable.
