Sous chef required for an independent hotel on the outskirts of Barrow-in-Furness. Working in a small kitchen brigade your role will involve running the kitchen in the absence of the head Chef.

As sous chef you will have a strong passion for fresh food, local produce and quality. You will assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen including menu planning. You will help manage the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, in the production and service of the best quality menus. A keen eye for detail is essential.

Experience is essential, would suit candidates looking to move to their first Sous chef role.
You will also need the ability to work in a small kitchen brigade so a hands on approach is needed.

Chef de Partie also required experience essential.

In accordance and compliance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 all applicants applying will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
