Excellent opportunity for a FRENCH SPEAKING candidate! Based in Sittingbourne! St Regis divisional offices are moving from Maidenhead in Berkshire to Kemsley. Is is anticipated thatthis relocationwill be complete by the end of July 2009. This relocation is part of a wider exercise across DS Smith PLC, St Regis's parent company, aimed at reducing the structural cost base across the group.

We are currently seeking a French (fluent) speaking Sales Administrator to join the company. This exciting new role is to start immediately and will be based primarily in Kemsley although some initial training will take place in Maidenhead. You will be the central point of contact between the Customers, Logistics and the Mills; ensuring that orders are processed in the most efficient and cost-effective way for the Company whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

JOB DUTIES:
(Key areas of responsibility)

Production Planning:
- Responsible for planning specific paper machines and scheduling production programmes.

Customer Service:
- Responsibility for specific customer accounts including some French speaking accounts.
- Constant liaison with customers, mills, external sales team and colleagues.
- Entering and progressing orders; monitoring order intake and forecasts.
- Ensuring level of cover is maintained during busy periods and absences.

General:
- Capacity planning and stock management.
- Generating reports and information for customers and external sales team.
- Logging and responding to Helpdesk issues; dealing with customer complaints.
- Any other duty which may be allocated from time to time by the Internal Sales Manager, the Division or D S Smith PLC.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
(The academic qualifications and the vocational experience considered necessary to be successful in this position the absolutely necessary and those that would be advantageous)

Essential:

- Languages French speaker
- Previous experience in customer service/planning.
- Experience of mainframe computer systems. Educated to A-Level standard, or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Numerate and computer literate.

Desirable:

- Previous experience in customer service/planning.
- Experience of mainframe computer systems.
