Boogie Shooz is a twelve-piece professional pop function band playing tunes from the 60s through to today with emphasis on disco and party numbers of the 70s/early 80s and more modern funk and soul numbers. We are currently seeking a trumpeters and trombonist
We would love to meet you if you love to perform this kind of music and have previous high-level professional covers band or/and theatre pit band experience. You would need to be freely available to gig on Friday evenings, Saturdays and the odd Sunday (through the summer season). Sectional rehearsals are once every three weeks on chosen weekday evenings 7:30 9:30 pm (Mon, Tues or Thurs). Full rehearsals are every third Sunday evening 6:30 10:30 pm.
You must be a friendly semi-professional, strongly self-motivated to practise at home, and willing to travel, with your own transport and high-quality instrumental equipment.
The corporate and private entertainments marketplace has become tougher just recently but this band is aiming for class-leading, high-energy performances to propagate better business. You will want to go out and play!
