Friends of the Earth work for the adoption of values, lifestyles and policies that will bring a fair and sustainable future for everyone, whilst protecting the diversity and interdependence of all living creatures.
Tim Lilley Fundraising, an independent agency, have been working on behalf of Friends of the Earth for over twenty three years. We are looking for an articulate and self-motivated charity fundraiser to visit members of the public at home, raising support for this vital cause through regular direct debits.
Our fundraisers work in a patient and sensitive way, giving people all the time and space they need to take an informed and careful decision, and returning on another day to help those who have given it thought. Since the process is unobtrusive and entirely free from pressure, the people that we find are dedicated and loyal generating regular income upon which FoE can rely for many, many years.
You would earn 8 per hour plus bonuses for working 22 hours over 5 evenings per week, with a weekly daytime support/training session (this works out at 180 per week plus bonuses, expenses, and at least 7 weeks holiday per year).
You will work exclusively for Friends of the Earth. We'll help you to form strong ties with them and learn all you can, attending periodic training sessions at their head office in London expenses paid and other events you find useful.
Applicants should be self-motivated with fluent English and good interpersonal skills. Ideally applicants will be educated to degree level. We will provide full training and ongoing support.
Please note that applicants must be over 18 and have a Full UK Work Permit and a UK National Insurance number. Unfortunately we are unable to process applications from applicants with a Student Visa only.
For further information or to apply please call Gary Edwards on 01371 876040 quoting reference GTG792.
