Our client is a mechanical contractor in Cheltenham whospecialise in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) serviceswithin the building services industry, specificallynew projects and installation of services.
At present the client the is in a very strong position in the current climate with an order book fullfor the next 18 months, hence the reason forthis vacancy.
The lineup of work includes; nursinghomes, commercial properties, warehouse / industrial and work withvarious local authorities.
The is primarily contract management, reporting directly to the managing director.You will be required to manage a project from inception to completion inclusive of;
- Tendering
- Estimating
- Minimal design capabilities
- Ordering materials and labour
- Attending site meetings and liaising with the client and other sub-contractors
- Overseeing installation on site
- Writing O&M manuals
- Commissioning
- Final account Applicants are required to have had some experience in building services and will ideally have either a degree in building services or have an ONC / HNC building services qualification.
