Due to maternity leave, this beautiful village school is currently looking to cover Autumn term in the Key Stage 1/ Foundation unit, possibly to extend to Spring term.
The school has a reputation for excellence and is looking for a KS1 teacher who can not only maintain but also enhance these already high standards.
The successful teacher will have experience of running a department, excellent organisational skills and the drive and passion to take on and develop the Foundation Unit. The job will be over 0.8 of a week and cover all aspects of the Early Years Curriculum.
THE ROLE
Responsible for the teaching of a Reception class
Maintaining high standard of pupil management
Encouraging and supporting pupil development
Maintaining accurate records of pupil's work
Attending staff meetings
THE CANDIDATE
Must have QTS
Have solid practice of Early Years Teaching
Be able to develop and lead a department
Ability to work in a team
Good ICT skills
