Coming from a strong Mechanical Engineering background and with a reasonable understanding of PCB assembly, you are more likely to secure an interview if you have worked on a well known, cutting edge product within a recognised and quality brand for the consumer market.

REQUIRES OF YOU:-

In addition to possessing a sound education and strong mechanical engineering background, you will have previous experience at a senior level as a Process/Production Engineer with a strong ability to read and interpret intricate designs, liaise with suppliers, define processes and make things happen.
You will be a self starter who has drive and confidence to take on this responsibility with a can do/will do attitude. Youll be happy rolling your sleeves up and getting on with it, with the ability to lead the technical management of contract manufacturers, suppliers and EMS partners.
