We are looking for a housekeeper / au pair to live in or out. We are a friendly family with busy, self-employed mum and dad, 13yr boy and 9yr boy and girl twins. The work can include cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping, cooking, cycling or driving the kids to and from schools and clubs, helping with homework and occasional baby sitting. In our six bedroom Victorian house is your own room with tv and internet, your own bathroom and the use of a car; and it is about a mile from the centre of Taunton. The town has direct to London train and coach services, the M5 and two airports less than an hour away, the Blackdown and Quantock Hills on either side and two coastlines within easy reach. Ours is a lively household with friends and family coming and going so you must be sociable and flexible. You must be self-motivated, organised and hardworking, a non-smoker and have good references - and a gsoh! This is a permanent, part-time job with exact hours and days to be agreed so you can go to college or take on other jobs - we can offer part-time work in our business making wedding dresses if you have the right skills. Ideally, this job starts in August but it could be earlier. Pay and holidays will be according to hours and days worked, and whether living in or not.
