Secondary Teaching Assistant
As Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant you will be responsible for working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children that have mild and severe challenging behaviour.
It is your responsibility to see that they understand and complete work set within lessons and identify their individual triggers to contain and manage challenging behaviour.
Additional duties will include:
* Liaising directly with the classroom teachers
* Assisting in the preparation lessons and marking of work
* Following a child's IEP, providing regular input and updates
*Special Education Needs(SEN) an advantage
To qualify for this role you MUST have:
* A Teaching Assistant or Special Educational Needs NVQ at level 2/3
* At least 3 months experience as a TA or LSA within the last 2 years
* Current CRB & willing to obtain a full Hays CRB
* Referenced experience supporting pupils within a TA role
