What's the Exeter music scene like?

Hello. I'm moving to Exeter later this year and, as a keen guitar player, I'll be looking to form or join a band or two. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has any helpful information on what the scene is like in Exeter, where to find other musicians, etc.

I'm interested in all genres, but especially rock, blues, jazz and noise/experimental stuff.
