International Director of Finance - Permanent - 70000 GBP pa - ACCA or ACA qualified - Essex
Our client is a phenomenally successful, prestigious international company within the manufacturing industry and a position has arisen for an outstanding Finance Director to provide financial and strategic leadership, and support and drive finances forward.
Key Accountabilities
* To oversee the continuous improvement of the accounting and financial processes
* Ensure continued development of accounting policies and procedures
* Development of team with the aim to achieve best practices and most successful output
* Provide strategic leadership for finance in addition to the implementation of effective processes
* Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit legal advice as required
* Instrumental in creating an awareness of technical and commercial developments and implementing change to ensure operational effectiveness
* Review current reporting arrangements and make suggestions for improvement
* Preparation of statutory accounts
* Develop and prepare monthly reporting package
* Conduct audit process on company side
* Develop cash flow forecasting and maintain a long term cashflow forecast
* Previous senior managerial experience essential
* Professional accounting qualification - ACCA or ACA
* Committed, professional and enthusiastic
* Solid work history with good references
* Reporting directly to the CEO
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
* Immaculate personal presentation and well spoken
