Female vocalist needs musicians

Hey all!
So basically I like to sing and write songs. The songs sound great in my head - but shit without instruments. I really wanna perform now and would love to work with people who are in a similar position to me - guitarists, drummers, bassists etc, who can play well (or not so well - as long as it sounds decent), but need songs, and so on ,to work with.
I just really wanna have fun with it, play gigs, etc... maybe record some material in the studio...
I'm not looking to establish a career as a band - but if we're good enough, and it's a possiblity, then I'm all for it - I just wanna become part of a band/form a band/.
My voice is pretty adaptable so am able to sing in a folk, rock, indie stlyle. Indie/rock is what I really wanna do.
I Love The Kills, Subways, Radiohead, Bloc Party, Enter Shikari, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Foals... that sort of sound.
