Big Band

I'm looking to start a Big Band in the Derby - Belper - Matlock area for like-minded people:
* are you a competent musician, but not necessarily a professional?
* do you get a kick out of swing / jazz / funk?
* could you commit to 1-2 gigs a quarter plus weekly rehearsals?
* would you like to be part of a exciting new team, make friends and have great fun?
Well if so, you are a 'like minded individual' and I would like to hear from you!
I am 26, have recently moved to Derbyshire from London and although i'm not a professional musician (Engineer), I have much experience of playing in and running a Big Band, doing gigs and even recording a professionally-mastered CD.
I have a pad full of ready-to-play music, with all the parts.
I require approx:
6 * alto saxophonists
6 * tenor saxophonists
2 * baritone saxophonist
4 * trumpeters
4 * trombonists
1 * drummer
1 * pianist
1 * bassist (electric or double bass)
1 * singer
...but this is flexible.
