PA takes place when local people are asked to talk about their own needs and suggest solutions to any problems they might face. PA allows people to be more involved with the decision-making process, it allows you to make your own solutions and take your own action.
This training course consists of a 3 day class based training course (starting on 20th July or 27th July) and a further 4 practice project days where you get the opportunity to practice your skills in real life instances, in a range of PA projects in an attempt to discover what would make life better for those who live in your area (this will be 1 day a week starting 4th August).
Specific themes include: Crime and ASB, Young People, Health, Environment, Local decision making, Citizenship, Children, Parents, Elderly, Vulnerable, Employment and Training.

Price: 300 per person

Run in conjunction with Hull Universitys Centre for Lifelong Learning.
