We seek a Project Engineer or Applications Engineer for this highly successful, privately owned business specialising in the development and supply of a range of electrical and electronic component assemblies for use in a diverse range of application areas from Aerospace to Defence to Communications to Broadcast. The role assumes a very central position as a key liaison between the customer base and the design and manufacturing partners. You will interface with customers via telephone and in person to discuss their requirements and turning that requirement into a quotable proposition through conversation with product designers. The customer and supply base are truly global so the role will entail occasional international travel.
You are likely to be experienced in Internal Sales, Applications Engineering or Project Management. Whilst we don't necessarily seek a technical qualification, we do require a good technical affinity. Additionally we are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to produce quality results without excessive supervision.
