A Local Authority In Cambridgeshireis looking for an experienced Benefits Assessor to work at their offices in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be afully experienced benefit assessor confident inassessing all types of claims.

The successful individual must have good knowledge and working experienceof usingthe IBS benefits system.


Duties Include:


- To provide the highest standards of customer care to both external and internal customers.
- To provide advice, information and assistance with enquires, relating to the Benefits services.
- Where possible resolve all enquires on first contact with the customer, where not identify and carry out the actions needed to lead to resolution.
- To process all benefit claims and changes in circumstances accurately to meet customer expectations and performance Measures
- To ensure accurate maintenance of the Council Tax and Business Rate databases
- To ensure that timely and accurate follow-up processes occur to maximise collection of the taxes due to the authority
