The Grange is a small community based in Whatley. (5 minutes from Frome) On site we have a well established cookery school and are in the process of setting up a restaurant that we hope to open in late June/early July

We have very strong views on our food and ethics. All of our producers and suppliers are local to the south west; we grow a lot of fruit and veg on site meaning we have to work within the seasons. Our restaurant runs on a training basis so after the uncial setup of the kitchen and front of house the majority of our staff will start from the bottom and work through to gain national qualifications (free of charge). Everything from bread to pancetta is made on site including most of our butchery with animals sourced from a local farm in Wiltshire.

We are looking for someone that is keen to train and learn about prefessional cookery, a national qualifition will be offered for the right applicant. They need to be a team player and expect to put a lot of effort in for an even return. We arent necessarily looking for someone with lots of experence, all I will ever ask for is a good attitude.

We are looking for someone that can legally work in the UK and sees this as a permanent position. Due to the nature of the kitchen setup there will be options to move on to other things for the right applicant.
