Influences are: Kyuss, Down, Fugazi, Helmet, Acrimony, Corrosion of Conformity, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys (Aglio E Olio ep), Iron Monkey, EyeHateGod, Crowbar, late 80's Sub Pop bands...

In order to avoid wasting anyone's time:
You must live in Brighton or Hove. Anyone living out of those areas and wants to reply to this ad must be willing to move to Brighton and live there. We will not entertain the idea of having someone who has to travel to get to rehearsals etc. This is non negotiable as well.
You should posses these characteristics:
Open minded
Sincere
Easy going
Articulate
Living in the real world
You will not be:
An alcoholic or someone that becomes an utter wanker when they're drunk
A drug addict
Egotistical
Arrogant
Harbor delusional thoughts of being famous
Carry a 'woe me' complex/moaning about how hard your life is/pretentious 'tortured artist/soul' or anything of that ilk.
The role for the singer in this band is to sing and nothing else. You will write your own lyrics, but most vocal lines will be written for you. Your main focus will be performing on stage and having charisma and stage presence. This is almost as important as you having a voice.
This is a band that is trying to fill a gap in the guitar/live music 'scene' in Brighton. We have no grand ideas or plans to take on the music industry. We don't have any recordings so please don't ask for one.
The whole point is to play live and put on a great show, then we'll take it from there.
