Job Description

Business Development Agent's role involves outbound specialist IT telemarketing and delivering complex telemarketing solutions on behalf of UK & International IT Corporate organisations such as BT plc, Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks, 3Com, Avaya and Alcatel, etc.

Our Clients customers are in the IT Channel to Market - Enterprise, Manufacturers, Distributors, Systems Integrators, Carriers, ISP's and Resellers.

You will be representing global industry leaders and speaking to key decision makers within organisations who are considering implementing innovative solutions and new technologies. Astute requires the employees to understand and translate a specific technological and business propositions to conversations with high-level decision makers within a targeted audience set by our customers.

Approximately 90% of the Business Development Agents (BDA) role involves Outbound Specialist IT Telemarketing. The BDAs are required to conduct telemarketing as their core role within the organisation.



The Role:

Below is an outline of the main duties that you will be expected to perform:

9-5 telephone work (business to business calling)
Conversing at high levels with potential clients or customers
Preparing comprehensive reports for our clients
General enthusiasm for IT on the telephone
Participate in training sessions and have a willingness to learn
Communicate new ideas and concepts to high level IT management
Achieve targets and objectives set by campaign managers

Qualifications

Education to A-level standard, including GCSE Maths and English
