Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Head of Financial Management for one of the UK's most high profile charities.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for 3 senior managers and their teams of staff and have responsibility for all treasury, tax management and the correct, timely and efficient processing of all financial transactions. This would include treasury and investment; income processing; payroll and expenses; monitoring of financial systems and controls; strategic development; review of department and asset management.
In addition, you will need to maintain up to date knowledge of best practices and legislative information together with taxation and VAT regulations.
You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with strong financial accounting/audit experience, VAT and tax knowledge and the ability to manage, coach and motivate staff effectively.
