Assistant Finance Manager

Our client, based in Ringwood, requires an Assistant Finance Manager to primarily assist the European Financial Controller with the preparation of period financial statements, the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and to perform general accounting functions to ensure the smooth and timely running of the Finance Department.
You will work closely with and support the European Financial Controller and European Managing Director, including the delivery of ad hoc projects as and when required.
You will possess good working knowledge of integrated accounting software, Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications and be sufficiently IT enabled to become highly skilled in use of the Company Information System (CIS) and report development.
Education and experience:
Ideally ACCA/CIMA qualified (or working towards)
Experience of maintaining, developing and implementing financial controls beneficial
Preparation of regular and ad hoc management reports
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
AR & AP experience beneficial but not essential
Hours:
37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday.
