My client is one of the leading hotel operators of the world with a variety of brands within their group serving all walks of customer. This particular hotel is a corporate half-service hotel in the Birmingham area. With over 80 bedrooms and conference facilities this is a busy hotel and they pride themselves in their good customer service skills.

Job Description

The role as Hotel Manager is a very senior position within the hotel requiring you to take on a lot of responsibility and accountability for all the departments. All the Heads of Departments will report into you and you should take an active interest in their development and support.

You will motivate and manage your team to make sure that they are consistently delivering the brand standards. As this is not a full service hotel it is very important that you have a strong Front Office Background and a good understanding of yield management.

You should be proactive in looking at how to increase and improve business for the hotel. It is not essential that you have previously been a hotel General Manager but it is important that you have at least held Operations Manager level and have deputised for your GM. You should also have good financial knowledge and have worked in a branded hotel environment.

Salary

The starting salary for this role is between 28,000 and 31,000 depending on experience. Live in is not available.
