Join us in Edinburgh this August for Innovative and Exciting Writing Workshops!
Write in Edinburgh is a new and innovative approach to writing workshops! Instead of retreating to the countryside why not immerse yourself in the UNESCO city of Literature. Summer and festival time in Scotlands capital is the most exciting and vibrant times of the year. We believe it is the perfect time and location to be inspired!
Our workshop venue is close to the city centre to allow you to indulge in some of our post workshop entertainment, such as visits to the Writers Museum, the Poetry Library, the Literature Pub tour and a trip to Marys Kings close, opened to the public after over 300 years in the dark!
We intend to inspire you through our workshops run by expert authors, lecturers and publishers on fiction, critical writing, poetry, dialect, and emotion. Choose from the elements you experience over the four days in the year of 250th anniversary of Robbie Burns birth to create a piece which will be published in an anthology and E-book. You and your friends will be able to follow your writing in progress on our website.
Eventi Verdi, your greener and more sustainable events management company will be running the workshops for greener getaways. So you can rest assured that the event will be run with a green ethic in mind. Eventi Verdi will also be donating a portion of the profits to the National Literacy Trust so that more people can enjoy reading and writing as much as we do!
