My client is a prestigious company which offers cleaning services which are both forward thinking and ethical. They are looking for an Area Manager who will be reporting to the Managing Director of the company.
Role:
Winning new cleaning contracts by finding new sales opportunities in the area and closing those opportunities
Minimising client attrition by managing client and contractor relationships to ensure expectations are exceeded; client and contractor queries and cases are responded to promptly
Sourcing and managing local suppliers for additional services such as recycling, window cleaning, etc.
Upselling those additional services to your clients
Recruiting, developing and managing the cleaning teams
Ensuring all company operational procedures are adhered to
Completion of all administration accurately and on-time
Managing, recruiting and developing a team of people to help manage the business as it grows
My client is looking for Area Manager staff with experience in any of the following areas Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sunderland, Birmingham, Bath, Coventry, Ipswich, Bristol and possibly Dublin. The applicants need to show evidence of knowledge of a city e.g. culture, community, geography.
The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in Management and UK experience. Doesn't need to come from a Cleaning background. The job is paying 25-40k depending on experience. The candidate must be able to interview in London.
