They are looking for a new requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to look after a number of projects within the Kingdom. Ideally candidates will be from either southern Asia or the Far East. Previous experience in the Middle East will be a distinct advantage.
1- Ability to formulate BoQs and Schedule of Rates from scratch.
2- Experience of the Estimating process for customer RFQs
3- Technical Support to Project Manager, Contract, Procurement and Site Personnel.
4- Responsible for the preparation and updates of cost change / variation orders.
5- Consistently involved in pricing, estimation, budgeting, cost control, project coordination and review of contractor's payment certificates.
6- Supervising preparation of pre-construction documentation
7- Preparation of BoQs, cost estimates and claims
8- Interim and final account measurement -- site measurement and drawing take off.
9- Coordination with Accounts for invoicing.
10- Pricing and Rating variations and compensation events
11- Ensuring good quality and accurate records are kept
12- Maintenance of cost information.
13- Verification and agreement of Sundry Accounts
14- To assist in the production of Project Procurement Strategy Documentation
15- Excellent English communications skills in both written and oral formats
Applicants must be:
University Degree (Minimum of 4 years) in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 5 years. Professional experience,
Knowledge of FIDIC and method of measurements, Computer Skills and Communications Skills in English Language (Read, Write and Speak).
Preferences:
Applications preferred from Candidates with either GSM/Telecommunications background although Candidates with construction of Steel frame buildings will also be considered.
Applications from Candidates with KSA or Middle Eastern experience will be preferred.
